Example Projects

Ride Trader iPhoneD2 Computing Ltd own and operate Ride Trader UK. The main classifieds site was written from the ground up as a completely bespoke application. We developed an ASP.NET solution from scratch, no CMS or templating system was used.

A well as the web application, we produced a companion iPhone application for the site which communicates with the web application using XML web services. The iPhone application was initially designed to allow users to browse and search motorcycles for sale, but we’ve since updated it to allow sellers to actually post advertisements from their handset and update their ads and bike photos whilst away from a PC.

We are also currently working on developing Windows Phone and native iPad versions of the app.

We also specialise in e-commerce and online product catalogues. A recent site involved the customisation of a leading open source e-commerce package, to provide a searchable catalog for a national instrumentation hire company. This involved customisation of the open source C# codebase to suit the companies product base and generation of a graphical template to brand the package.
