D2 Computing Ltd are a small UK based software development company, located in leafy Cheshire and established in 2003 by Paul Durbar.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our service, our enthusiasm for the latest technology and our ability to provide something different from the hundreds of vanilla design houses out there.
D2 being a small business means your project is given the personal treatment, with an emphasis on contact and consultation at every stage of the design and build process. This means the end product is exactly what YOU want.
We realise that you are in business to make money and often do not need the hassle of learning and keeping up to date with the latest web technologies. We can help by providing a complete end-to-end service, advising on the best, most cost effective solution to meet your needs. We provide fixed cost startup packages for small businesses and sole traders enabling you to get a solid web presense for very little outlay. Our startup web packages start from as little as £250.
All our work is done within the UK, we do not offshore anything, the person you speak to whilst discussing your project will be the actual person who will sit down and build it for you.
For established businesses we offer a wide range of development services from enhancing, re-designing or commerce-enabling existing sites to producing an new application from the ground up to streamline your internal business processes.

D2 Computing Ltd own and operate Ride Trader UK. The main classifieds site was written from the ground up as a completely bespoke application. We developed an ASP.NET solution from scratch, no CMS or templating system was used.
A well as the web application, we produced a companion iPhone application for the site which communicates with the web application using XML web services. The iPhone application was initially designed to allow users to browse and search motorcycles for sale, but we’ve since updated it to allow sellers to actually post advertisements from their handset and update their ads and bike photos whilst away from a PC.
We are also currently working on developing Windows Phone and native iPad versions of the app.
We also specialise in e-commerce and online product catalogues. A recent site involved the customisation of a leading open source e-commerce package, to provide a searchable catalog for a national instrumentation hire company. This involved customisation of the open source C# codebase to suit the companies product base and generation of a graphical template to brand the package.
